Hope this mail finds you well. First is to thank you for introducing new agricultural technology to us in Kenya.
I have been using the technology for almost two years now and I cannot hesitate recommending the same to anyone. In my case it has helped a lot in saving water and labour. Additionally, I have noted that weeds have been greatly suppressed and diseases have also reduced to a considerable extent.

Challenges
In spite of the good technology I have faced a few challenges. The first major challenge is that of mites. During times that the system is not used, the pipes have been destroyed by mites. Second one is that of filtration. Since I use water from the river, in case of heavy rains the water tends to get very dirty hence causing some difficulty in filtering it completely. The last one has been sloppy terrain. My land has a significant degree of slope, thus, the lower part tends to get more water than the upper side.

After Sales Service
Despite the few challenges I am still a happy farmer since Approtech firm has been of great assistance to me in times of need. The company always responds to my queries with speed. My greatest support has come from one, Mr. Naitik Patel. The assistance has been of much help. Even though my field is located very far from the company’s headquarters, Mr. Patel has visited my farm several times a year to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Suggestions
I would like to make the following suggestions to the company;
To look into the problem of mites and how they can minimize the said risk. Try and develop a simple manual of the technology in terms of proper installation. The manual can also include calculations like how much water is released per meter per hour and at water pressure. It can also explain the relationship between tank height and water flow.

Conclusion
I would like to recommend the above technology to ant farmer. It is easy to use, saves water, reduces labour and chemical costs. If done properly, plants grown using porous pipe tend to grow a bit faster than other types of irrigation.
